A photographed closet ready to be organized into outfits

The first test is input. Can you add the pieces hanging in your closet, or does the app send you to a catalog of clothes you might buy? A planner earns its place when it uses your shirt, trousers, shoes, and layers as the material for a real outfit.

Four useful checks

Run one practical test

Give the planner three details: one item you want to wear, where you are going, and one constraint. Try “Use my denim jacket for a casual dinner; I need to walk there and I do not want heels.” The answer should use the jacket, fit the venue, and respect the shoes.

Use a small wardrobe for the second test: one top, one bottom, one shoe, and one layer. Ask for three outfits. The results show whether the planner can combine your clothes or only surface more inspiration.

Where Outfitr fits

Outfitr follows that sequence. Upload what you own, describe the plan, ask the stylist for a recommendation, and see the outfit on you in a photo. When two options are close, create a poll and ask friends. The app helps move a decision from your closet to your calendar.
